The Vivo V17 has just been announced in India. Like many of the brand’s devices, this too is a camera centric phone.
The V17 sports a 6.44-inches Full HD+ E3 Super AMOLED iView display with a punch-hole selfie camera lens that Vivo claims is the smallest one ever. An in-display fingerprint scanner allows you to unlock the phone securely. We saw the device first in a leaked poster, about a week ago.
The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and the slim bezels make for a 91.38% screen-to-body ratio. The panel can support up to 800 nits of brightness and has 100% sRGB spectrum, 100% DCI P3 colour gamut.
The Vivo V17 runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9 Pie, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device has a dedicated microSD card slot which is part of a triple card tray that supports dual SIM with dual standby.
The phone is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 18W Fast Charging over a USB Type-C port. The front camera on the Vivo V17 is a 32MP lens which has an f/2.45 aperture, and has a Super Night Selfie mode for low light selfies.
The main cameras on the V17 are arranged in an L-shaped style and comprise a 48MP primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture that also supports Super Night Mode, an 8MP super wide-angle lens with a field-of-view of 120°, an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Bokeh lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP super macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.

Vivo V17 price in India
The Vivo V17 has been priced at Rs. 22,990 in India. The pre-booking for the phone starts today, and the Vivo V17 will go on sale from December 17th on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, Vivo India and offline channels.
Buyers can avail 5% cashback when purchasing using HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, IDFC FIRST Bank cards or through HDB Financial services. The company is also including the Vivo XE710 headphones worth Rs. 1,999 in the box for all purchases.
