As we reported, Vivo has officially launched Vivo V5 Plus smartphone in India targeted towards selfie obsessed consumers. Vivo V5 Plus is an upgrade over Vivo V5 and upgrades the selfie game by offering a dual front camera along with upgrading other technical specifications of the device too over the existing V5.
Vivo V5 Plus sports a uni-metal body with 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display, powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card. It runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 20 MP Sony IMX 376 image sensor + 8 MP dual front camera with Selfie Softlight and a 16 MP main rear camera, with f/2.0 aperture for all the three cameras. Vivo V5 had offered a 20 MP front shooter and a 13 MP main rear camera along with LED flash. The phone is backed by a 3055 mAh battery along with Dual-Charging Engine technology for fast charging. It comes with sensors such as Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-compass and Gyroscope.
The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the front Home button. In terms of dimensions, it measures 152.58 x 74 x 7.26 mm and weighs 158.6 grams. It includes a Hi-Fi Chipset AK4376 for better sound quality. In terms of connectivity, it comes with support for 2G / 3G / 4G LTE with bands 1/3/5/7/8/40 and supports Dual SIM (nano + nano).
V5 Plus is priced at Rs. 27,980 and will be available in Gold Color through offline retails stores across India.
