Vivo is set to launch Vivo V5 on November 15 at an event in Mumbai, India. We are just few days away from the official launch and now Box images along with specifications of the device have leaked ahead of the official launch revealing most of the details about this upcoming smartphone.
As per the leaked images, Vivo is planning to announce two variants of the device i.e. Vivo V5 and Vivo V5 Plus. Out of the two devices, one will be a lower variant and the other one will be a premium variant with better hardware specifications. Both the variants come with 20 MP moonlight camera, though we have no clue on other differences in terms of hardware specifications of two variants. The leak though gives a full sneak peek at the specifications of Vivo V5.
As per the leak, Vivo V5 sports a 5.5 inch 720p HD display and is powered by an Octa-core processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card. The leak doesn’t reveal the make of the SOC chip, whether it is Qualcomm Snapdragon or Mediatek. It runs on Funtouch OS 2.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
In terms of camera, it sports a 20 MP front camera which the company calls as Moon camera and a 13 MP main rear camera. It comes with Hi-Fi chipset AK4376 for better sound. In terms of dimensions, it measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.55 mm and weighs 154 grams.
It is backed by a 3000 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE/ 3G /2G. It includes sensors such as Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and e-compass.
