Vivo is all set to unveil the Vivo V7 Plus in India on September 7 at a launch event in Mumbai. The company has already sent out media invites for the launch event and the invite image reveals something interesting about the upcoming Vivo V7 Plus. If you look closely at invite image, you will see that the smartphone in the image comes with a display similar to what we have seen in devices such as Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+, LG Q6 or even the Micromax Canvas Infinity. It seems to be an 18:9 display with minimum bezels at top & bottom and none at the sides, though the actual aspect ratio may be different from 18:9.
The invite also comes with the tagline “Redefine the selfie experience with the revolutionary selfie camera” which clearly indicates a better front selfie camera compared to existing Vivo V5 Plus. Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 20 Mp + 8 MP dual front camera and V7 Plus is expected to improve on that.
Another image shared by the company earlier reveals the design of the device from a side view, though doesn’t offer much. We can only see Antenna lines at the top side.
Coming to the existing Vivo V5 Plus, the phone sports a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display, powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage running Funtouch OS 3.0 (based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system).
