After a flurry of rumours and leaks, today we have the official confirmation of the launch date of Vivo X20, which comes with Full view display similar to what we have seen in recently launched Vivo V7+ in India. Vivo China through its official Weibo handle has just released a launch teaser which announces the official launch date of Vivo X20. As per the launch teaser, Vivo X20 will be unveiled in China on 21st September 20:00 hrs.
The launch teaser also shows the front display of the device which is same as what we have seen in earlier teaser and leaks with almost negligible bezels at sides and narrow bezels at top & bottom.
We have already seen the official images of Vivo X20 in the form of TENAA listing of model numbers Vivo X20 and X20A, which revealed the front and rear of the device. The TENAA images confirm dual camera module aligned horizontally similar to iPhone 7 Plus and the fingerprint sensor at the rear panel, while there is no home button at the front. It will use the on-screen navigation buttons as we have seen in Vivo V7+.
Rumors suggest that Vivo X20 and X20 Plus may feature a 5.2-inch & 5.5-inch full-HD 1080p display though we have already seen a 6.0-inch HD+ display in Vivo V7+. In our opinion, Vivo X20 plus may come with a 6.0-inch display. The phone may be powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC along with 6GB of RAM. In terms of operating system, Android 7.1.1 Nougat may be running on these devices backed by 3500mAh batteries. In terms of camera, the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus smartphones are expected to come with 24-megapixel front cameras just as we have seen in Vivo V7+.
