Vivo has basically confirmed that its new flagship, the X9, will have dual cameras. A post from the company’s official Weibo account, shared the following teaser image.
The image shows two camera lenses, and we have seen the same in leaked press renders of the Vivo X9. And from the image, it is evident that the cameras will have a large aperture (for more light), and perhaps a wide angle lens.
Prior leaks have hinted that the front cameras could be the Sony Exmor IMX 260 lens. Interestingly, the Vivo X9 only has a single rear camera with LED Flash. So, it is clearly a selfie centric phone. The phone sports a full metal body, a USB Type-C connector and a physical home button. The phone is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest octa-core processor, the Snapdragon 650 along with 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage.
The Vivo X9 could be launched on November 17th, in Beijing, China, alongside another phone, called the Vivo XPlay 6.
