Vivo has confirmed on the Chinese social network Weibo that Vivo XPlay5 will be launching on 1st March in Beijing, China. The upcoming flagship Vivo XPlay5 was teased just few days ago by the company and is the successor to Xplay3S launched in 2013.
As per the teasers from company, it is expected to feature dual-curved display.
As per an Antutu listing, XPlay5 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 along with 4 GB of RAM. Even though the listing says 4GB RAM, yet there are rumors which claim that Xplay5 will come with 6 GB of RAM. In terms of camera, it is expected to feature a 16 MP rear and 8 MP front shooters.
Vivo is touting this as a fast, border-less display which point to almost bezel-less display. We will await for the final launch for this.
