About a dozen Vivo Z5 press renders have been shared by the company, ahead of its launch this week. The pictures reveal the design of the phone.
We can clearly see that the device has triple rear cameras which are aligned in a vertical bump, with an LED flash. The Vivo Z5 will be available in gradient colours such as Black (with greenish hue), Purple (with blue hue) and Cyan (has a white and purple tinge). It is possible that the phone’s back panel is reflecting the light to produce the effect in these photos.
Also, visible in the Vivo Z5 press renders is a water-drop notch. An in-display fingerprint scanner is seen on the lock screen of the phone.
Apart from these, a bunch of Vivo Z5 real photos have also surfaced on Weibo. The branding on the back panel reads 48MP camera, so one of the lenses is capable of taking 48MP shots. The pictures also confirm the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
A TENAA listing for the phone mentions that the Vivo Z5 is equipped with a 6.38-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, and is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core processor. It has 64GB/128GB of storage, and 6GB/8GB of RAM.
The selfie camera housed in the notch is a 32MP lens, while the 2 other main camerason the back are an 8MP and 2MP lenses. The phone is about 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm in terms of dimensions, and is backed by a 4,420mAh battery.
We’ll have more details about the Vivo Z5, when the company launches it on July 31st, in China.
