WhatsApp is undoubtedly one of the most used IM apps in the World.
Sometimes, the company uploads a new version of its app, on its official website.
This beta version, often gets many cool features, before the stable version does. A good example of this is WhatsApp calling, and Google Drive backup for WhatsApp chats. But there is one small problem when downloading and installing the app from its website.
Users have to enable the option to “allow the installation of apps from third party sources” from their phone’s security options. This poses a bit of a security risk. Bu that should no longer be an issue.
WhatsApp beta is now available on the Google Play Store. You can get the official beta version by joining the beta test group from this link. Once you become a tester, simply open the Google Play store app to update WhatsApp to the latest version.
Should you find the beta version is buggy, you can leave the beta testing group from the link mentioned above.
