Microsoft is releasing Windows 10 for PCs next month.
Earlier this year, the Redmond Company was reported to have partnering with Xiaomi, to run Windows 10 on the Mi4.
Yesterday, a user asked Gabe Aul, the Head of the Windows Insider Program, about the possibility of Microsoft releasing Windows 10 Mobile for Android devices.
This is what Aul’s reply said:
@RSARJUN We’re working on this with Xiaomi for the Mi4 device, but no news on other devices at this time. http://t.co/e3nzm2ixIF

It is the latter half of the sentence which intrigues us, ” no news on other devices at this time”.
Many of Microsoft’s apps: Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Office are already available at the Google Play Store. And the company has already announced that it will be releasing Cortana for Android. So, considering all these, it is possible that Microsoft may release Windows 10 Mobile to other phones as well. After all, Windows is free for all devices with a display size below 9-inches.
