The next phone from Xiaomi will arrive in India, in the first week of the new year. The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge launch date has just been confirmed by the company.
The device boasts support for 120W fast charging, which can charge the phone to 100% in just 15 minutes. That explains its unusual moniker. But the handset isn’t new per se, it appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, that was launched a few months ago in China.
Here’s what the device’s design looks like. The phone features a 6.6-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display which supports 120Hz refresh rate, is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, and is backed by a 4500mAh battery that charges over a USB Type-C port.
The selfie lens on the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is a 16 megapixels sensor, while the main camera set up comprises of a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, assisted by an 8MP 120° ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP telemacro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.
