The Xiaomi 12 launch date has been confirmed by the company. The upcoming flagship phone will make its debut at the end of this month.
An official press image reveals what the phone looks like. It has a tall display with narrow bezels and a hole-punch selfie lens at the top center of the screen. But more importantly, the render features two phones of different sizes. Does that mean 2 devices will be launched?
Zhiyuan Zang, the Deputy GM of Xiaomi Marketing, has confirmed that the company will indeed announce two flagships in the Xiaomi 12 series.
The phone’s design matches the one that we reported about earlier. Rumours suggest that the Xiaomi 12 has a 6.8 inches Full HD+ display, and 8GB of RAM. The device will run on MIUI, and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 120W Fast Charging over a USB Type C connector. It will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The main camera on the Xiaomi 12 is reportedly a 50 megapixels lens, which is part of a triple camera set up. The phone will support 5G mobile networks, Bluetooth 5.2 among other connectivity options.
