Back in May, we reported about a leak, which revealed details about the hardware of the Xiaomi Mi 5.
And now the Xiaomi Mi 5 specifications has been leaked again, with newer details about the display, memory, and the cameras.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 2K Display (Quad HD 2560 x 1440 pixels) as seen in the previous leak, but the size of the display won’t be 5.5-inches, instead the new leak claims it will be a 5.3-inch Display.
The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, with 4GB RAM. The Mi 5 will come in two storage variants, 16GB and 64GB of internal memory, but it will also have a microSD card slot expandable storage, which will support cards up to 128GB capacity.
The Mi 5 will flaunt a 16 megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear, and a 6 megapixel camera on the front. The phone will run on Android 5.1.1, and will be backed by a 3,030 mAh battery. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 has been codenamed “Libra”, after the Zodiac sign which is said to be the sign for those born between late September – October. Is this a possible hit about the launch date of the Mi 5?
