Xiaomi has finally broken the silence about the launch of its next flagship device, the Mi 5.
The company announced on its official forums today, that the Xiaomi Mi 5 is launching on February 24th.
The news comes after the company had earlier announced that it will be launching the Mi 5, after the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival).
Hugo Barra, the company’s Vice President, confirmed earlier this month that the flagship phone will indeed be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Chipset. The phone is rumoured to feature a USB Type-C port, a fingerprint scanner and is expected to come in more than one variant.
Xiaomi says it will be revealing more details about the Mi 5 launch on January 26th.
