We are just few days away from the official launch of Xiaomi next flagship on September 27 at an event in China. Even though Xiaomi is yet to announce the name of the flagship, rumors and leaks indicate it as Xiaomi Mi 5S. Recent leaks also suggest a plus variant of the flagship too i.e. Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus, and is expected to be launched on the same day.
Now, a new rumor spotted on Weibo suggest the possible variants of Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus along with the possible price for each of these variants. As per the rumor, three variants for both the standard and plus variants for the new flagship are proposed based on different internal storage combinations making it to a total of six variants. Xiaomi Mi 5S
- 6GB RAM+64GB ROM : 1999 Yuan ( ~ Rs. 20,000 or $300)
- 6GB RAM+128 GB ROM : 2299 Yuan ( ~ Rs. 23,000 or $345)
- 6GB RAM+256 GB ROM : 2699 Yuan ( ~ Rs. 27,000 or $405)
Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus
- 6GB RAM+64GB ROM : 2299 Yuan ( ~ Rs. 23,000 or $345)
- 6GB RAM+128 GB ROM : 2599 Yuan ( ~ Rs. 26,000 or $390)
- 6GB RAM+256 GB ROM : 2999 Yuan ( ~ Rs. 30,000 or $450)
One thing you will notice that there are no variations in RAM and each variant comes with 6 GB of RAM. The above rumor also matches with another alleged leak of the launch slides of Xiaomi which also talks about existence of Mi 5S & 5S plus variants and even the price of those variants. It comes with 16 MP main rear camera with 4 axis optical image stabilization OIS, 6P lens with PDAF focus capable of recording 4K video at 30 fps. It comes with NFC support and is backed by battery of 3490 mAh (typ) / 3410 mAh (min) capacity along with Qualcomm fast charge 3.0 support.
