Xiaomi India has started teasing a new launch event scheduled for September for launching a new “Flagship Dual camera” smartphone. Even though Xiaomi has not named the device, in our opinion it will be Xiaomi Mi 5X. Even though Xiaomi Mi 6 is also a dual camera flagship device, yet the company has not shown interest to launch that in India. Xiaomi Mi 5X in spite of being a mid range smartphone and not a flagship was rumoured to be launched in India in September.
Xiaomi Mi 5X with the dual camera was announced in last week of July at an event in China and is priced at 1499 yuan (~US$ 225 or Rs. 14,300). The phone went on sale in China on August 1st.
