Rumors indicate three variants of Xiaomi Mi 6 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Mediatek Helio X 30 processor with standard variant coming with flat display & 4 GB of RAM whereas the higher or premium variant coming with curved display and 6 GB of RAM. Xiaomi MI 6 is rumored to be announced in March – April this year.
Today a new rumor adds some more information about the coming Xiaomi flagship device. The new rumor indicates two models of the device are in works i.e. Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus with a display size of 5.2 inch & 5.7 inch respectively. Both models come with variants depending on screen size, RAM and internal storage variations.
The rumor also indicate dual camera setup of 22 MP sensors along with a 16 MP front shooter for selfies. We have seen contradicting rumors about dual screen setup till date. The flagship device comes with display supporting 3D touch with a ceramic body, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a 12V2A fast charge support. The 12V2A converts to a 24W charger which is more than the 5V4A i.e. the 20W charger with OnePlus 3T. Still the information looks odd as OnePlus prefers to increase the amperage instead of voltage for fast charging.
The rumor also indicates Xiaomi Mi 6 standard edition of 4G RAM + 64 GB storage priced at 1999 Yuan, followed by a higher variant of 6 GB + 128 GB storage with dual curved edge display variant priced at 2299 Yuan and a 6 GB + 256 GB variant priced at 2999 Yuan.
The rumor indicates Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus variants with 5.7 inch display with 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage priced at 2299 Yuan, followed by a 6 GB + 128 GB variant priced at 2499 Yuan and a 8 GB + 256 GB variant (Surface screen version which we assume the dual curve edge display here) priced at 3299 Yuan.
As with any other rumor, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
