We are almost 24 hours away from the official launch event of Xiaomi which is expected to unveil Xiaomi Mi 8 & Mi 8 SE smartphones along with Mi Band 3 and MIUI 10. As we move closer to launch, the intensity of leaks is rapidly increasing. Today more leaks have surfaced on Weibo which shows the Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE Renders along with a retail box of Mi Band 3 which also shows the band.
The leak again confirms the existence of Mi 8 SE smartphone which appears to be the lite variant of Mi 8. The press render reveals that Xiaomi Mi SE also comes with a notch at top of the display and with a high screen to body ratio similar to Mi 8. We already know that Mi 8 SE may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with a toned down hardware compared to the flagship & having a 20MPselfie shooter.
The Press render also suggests the possible pre-order / sales date for both the device and indicates that Mi 8 will be available for sale starting June 5 while the SE variant goes on sale on 8th June 2018. Another image shows the rear panel of the device too in Blue colour with dual camera module vertically aligned and a fingerprint sensor at rear suggesting no under-screen fingerprint sensor.
The leak also shows the upcoming Mi Band 3 retail box including the band itself. The retail box shows the band with the display showing time and date. No other details are mentioned. Thanks to earlier leaks, we already know that Mi Band 3 may be priced at 169Yuan (~$26)
Mi 8 is rumoured to feature a 6.2-inch Full HD (1080×2280) 19:9 display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage running MIUI 10. In terms of camera, it sports a dual camera module consisting of 20MP (f/1.7) and 16MP f/2.0 sensors, while on the front a 16MP f/2.0 shooter is there. It is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery. In terms of pricing, it is rumoured to be priced at CNY2,799 (around €370/$440) for the 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant while the high-end version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage for CNY3,199 or about €420/$500.
