Update: It appears that the devices in the picture are the Mi A1 and A2. Thanks Akshay for spotting our error.
A Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite teaser poster has been released by the company. And this is the official photo of the devices’ back panels.
The image was shared by Donovan Sung, Xiaomi’s Global Spokesperson and Director of Product Management.
Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite teaser
The Android One branding on the back of the phones means the Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite will run on stock Android OS, instead of Xiaomi’s MIUI. Also seen in the picture are a fingerprint scanner and a Dual rear camera design. The phone on the bottom has the cameras housed in a vertical bump, with the lenses placed either side of an LED Flash.
The other device has horizontally aligned cameras, with a dual LED flash module sitting outside the bump. There is a power button and volume rocker keys on the left side of one of the phones.
If you observe the Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite teaser, you can see that the phones have a USB Type-C port on the bottom. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the right corner (device’s left) of the phone on the top.
But there isn’t one on the phone below, remember the Xiaomi Mi A2 didn’t have one either, which leads us to believe that this could be the Xiaomi Mi A3, while the one above is the Xiaomi Mi A3 Lite.
Rumours suggest that the Mi A3 could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor.
Considering that the Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite teaser was shared through a global social account, than a regional one, we think that Xiaomi could be announcing the phone globally soon.
