The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 tech specs have officially been announced by the company, just a day before it is officially unveiled in China. Yes, Xiaomi has posted an official press render on Weibo, which basically also spills the beans on the design of the device.
The Mi Max 3 sports seemingly thin side bezels, forehead and a chin, while managing to equip a 6.9-inch Full HD+ display. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB/6GB of RAM.
The phone will be available in 2 storage variants: 64GB/128GB. with possible an expandable microSD card slot, though it is not mentioned in the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 tech specs sheet. The phone does have Dual SIM support which is indicated by the two signal strength indicator icons on the status bar.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 tech specs seen above also confirm that the device will have dual cameras on the back, one of which is a 12MP lens and the other a 5MP sensor. The phone is expected to be available in three colours: Black, Blue, and Gold.
The main feature seen in the confirmed Xiaomi Mi Max 3 tech specs list, is of course the 5500 mAh battery. And if these details weren’t enough, Lin Bin, the Co-Founder and President of Xiaomi, also posted nearly a dozen photos of the phone on his Weibo page.
Interestingly, the press render which was posted today, wasn’t just about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 tech specs. The price of the phone has been hinted too, which is highly unusual. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will cost 1_99 RMB, which of course could be anything from 1199 to 1999 RMB.
In comparison, the Mi Max 2 was priced at 1699 RMB for the 4GB/64GB variant (Rs. 16,999 in India), and at 1999 RMB for the 4GB/128GB variant. So, we can expect similar prices for the Mi Max 3 in China and India.
We will know for sure when the Mi Max 3 is announced in Beijing, tomorrow.
