The rumored technical specifications of the device is already out thanks to few rumors and listing of alleged listing of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 on benchmarking portal Gfxbench. As per the listing, Mi Max 2 sports a 6.4 inch Full HD 1080p display is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz (Which is rumored as Snapdragon 660) along with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM, though earlier rumors suggested 6 GB RAM and comes with 128 GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system with MIUI on top of it.
Today, an alleged image of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has leaked on the web which shows the back panel along with the top and bottom portion of the phone. The main rear camera with LED flash is visible on the back panel along with the fingerprint sensor and Mi branding. The location of main rear camera is same as that of Mi Max, yet the design is different. A small bump is visible with the camera module. The Antenna lines appear seamlessly integrated at top and bottom sides.
We can also see a metallic build along with curved edges at sides. The thickness of the phone is less at sides showing the curved design.
