The upcoming phablet device from Xiaomi, Mi Max is spotted on the benchmarking portal Gfxbench revealing some of the major hardware specifications. The phablet name Xiaomi Mi Max was decided based on a poll of conducted by the company where Fans/ consumers voted on four possible names.
The gfxbench listing confirms the screen size of 6.4 inch for Mi Max. It sports a Full Hd display ( 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) and is powered by 1.8 GHz hexa-core CPU Qualcomm processor which points to Snapdragon 650, with Adreno 510 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. These specifications refutes the expectations of Mi Max being a high-end flagship kind of phablet and now we can safely assume that Mi Max will be a mid range phablet with a large screen.
The listing also reveals that it will come with 16 GB of internal storage. It comes with a 16 MP main rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter. In terms of operating system, it is powered by Xiaomi’s own MIUI OS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
