Xiaomi launched two new flagship devices Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus just two days back at an event in China. Both these Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, but varying with respect to other hardware specifications such as display size, RAM, dual camera etc. Apart from these two devices, the rumor mills are churning for another flagship device from Xiaomi i.e. Mi Note 2. We have already seen leaks around Mi Note 2 with full set of renders, retail box etc., and even alleged full specifications of the smartphone.
Xiaomi is yet to make any official announcement about the device, but a new rumor on Chinese social network Weibo from a user C Digital cat (translated username) indicate that Mi Note 2 with 5.7 inch dual edged curved screen may launch in November 2016. The earlier variant i.e. Mi Note was launched in January 2015 itself and its successor is long overdue from Xiaomi.
As per rumors and leaks, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sports 5.7 inch 2K dual edged curved display with 3D touch support and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 along with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM along with 64 GB / 128 GB/ 256 GB of internal storage variants. In terms of camera, it sports 16 MP dual camera sensors at the back and 5 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery.
The existing Mi Note sports a 5.7 inch full HD display, powered by Snapdragon 801 and 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB / 64 GB of internal storage running MIUI based on Android 4.4 Kitkat. It features a 13 MP main rear camera and a 4 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.
