Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is long overdue for the official launch thanks to numerous leaks that are floating around with each passing day. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 curved front panel got leaked few days back followed by another set of user-created renders of the device. Today we have a new leak in the form of a Render along with the major specifications of the device. As per the leak, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes with a dual curved edge display at both sides similar to what we have seen with recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
The leaked render reveals the front home button similar to Samsung Galaxy edge, but does match with the earlier leaked front panel of the device. The Mi logo can be seen at the top of the front screen along with speakers, front camera and proximity sensor at the top. The back panel reveals the dual camera setup along with an LED flash which may be dual tone. The dual camera setup along with its position, on Mi Note 2 per this alleged render is similar to that of Huawei P9 and differs drastically from Redmi Pro. Back panel is also curved from both sides just as the front edge display.
The leak also reveals the major hardware specifications of the Mi Note 2 i.e. it sports a 5.5 inch OLED display and is powered by Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 821 processor along with 6 GB of RAM (earlier rumors pointed to a 5.7 inch display size similar to earlier Xiaomi Mi Note along with 4 GB of RAM). In terms of storage it comes with 128 GB of internal storage. In our opinion, there may be different variants based on RAM + internal storage combinations. The base Model of Mi Note 2 may come with 4 GB RAM + 32/64 GB of internal storage. The spec sheet also talks about dual camera setup that we talked about earlier.
Xiaomi Mi Note sports a 5.7 inch Full HD display and is powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 3 GB RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage without microsd card support. In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP main rear camera and 4 MP front shooter for selfies.
At the moment, we have no official date announced for the launch. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
