Earlier today, we reported that Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 3 in China.
The OEM also launched a new tablet, called the Mi Pad 2.
The tablet sports a 7.9-inch high res (2048 x 1536 pixels) display with a pixel density of 326 PPI, and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Intel X5-Z8500 processor clocked at 2.24GHz, 2GB RAM and an Intel HD Graphics GPU.
The device runs on MIUI 7 based on Android KitKat. The Mi Pad 2 comes in two variants, one with 16GB internal storage, and the other with 64GB internal storage.The tablet features an 8 megapixel rear camera, and a 5 megapixel front camera. The device is backed by a massive 6190 mAh battery, which supports fast charging. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with a USB Type C connector.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 measures at 200.4 x 132.6 x 6.95 mm, and weighs 322g. The tablet comes in two colours: Dark grey and Champagne gold.
Xiaomi has priced the Mi Pad 2 16GB variant at RMB 999 (approx 10370 Rupees or $156), and the 32GB variant at RMB 1299 (approx 13500 Rupees or $203).
