Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi Pad tablet in India today.
The Mi Pad sports a large 7.9″ QXGA IPS Retina Display which supports a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels at 326 PPI. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI, and is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra K1 (4+1 core) 2.2 GHz Quad processor, a 192-core Kepler GPU, and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, and supports up to 128 GB expandable storage.
The Mi Pad has an 8 megapixel camera with a Sony BSI sensor on the rear, and a 5 megapixel front camera with OmniVision sensor. A 6700mAh Lithium-ion Polymer Battery powers the tablet.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad has been priced at Rs. 12,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart from March 24. It will be sold without any registration or a flash sale.
