Xiaomi has scheduled an event on May 31 in China to announce a range of new products and we already know that one of them will be their next flagship device i.e. Xiaomi Mi 8. Apart from the smartphones, company also plans to announce their next generation of MIUI that powers the Xiaomi devices. The official handle just announced that the company will also be unveiling the MIUI 10 on May 31 along with the flagship and it appears from this announcement that Mi will be powered by MIUI 10.
At the moment, MIUI 9 is the latest version of Xiaomi UI that powers their smartphone which is based on Android 4.4.2 – Android 8.1 for different smartphones. You may wonder how MIUI 9 can be based on different versions of Android, but if you follow Xiaomi then you will know that same MIUI version are available for differnet Android versions. So MIUI 10 may again be based on Android 5.0 – Android 8.1 (say).
AT the moment, we got no clue on what new features this will bring to the smartphones and for that we need to wait a bit more or till the official announcement happens. Till then stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
