Xiaomi Mi Mix( the edgeless phone) was launched in November 2016 in China, which sports a 6.4 inch 2K display ( 1080 x 2040 pixels resolution) and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 along with 6 GB of RAM running Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system. Just two months from that launch, we have now spotted a new upgrade variant of Mi Mix on bench-marking portal Geekbench with a name of “Xiaomi Mix Evo”. It could just be a code name and may change with final launch if it happens.
The Geekbench listing of Xiaomi Mix EVO indicates that the new smartphone is powered by 1.9 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 processor along with 4 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system. In terms of benchmark scores, it scores 1938 under single-core and 5300 under multi-core tests. Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is yet to power any smartphone available to public and Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to be the first device powered by Snapdragon 835 followed by Xiaomi Mi 6.
The benchmark listing doesn’t reveal anything more about the technical specifications of the device including the battery capacity and Display size. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
