An image of a new Xiaomi phone was leaked on Weibo today. Oddly enough, it wasn’t a photo of the phone, but a CAD drawing (graphical sketch).
The device in question, has two cameras on the back panel. So far, we have not seen reports of any Xiaomi phone with dual cameras.
Recently, it was reported that Xiaomi and LeEco have been buying Dual camera modules, which were manufactured by Samsung. So it is likely that this phone, could come with one.
The design does look very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 5, except for one major difference. Oddly enough, there is no fingerprint scanner on the device. This suggests it may not be a flagship phone. It is likely that the leaked sketch could just be an old prototype.
