Yesterday, Xiaomi was granted permission from the Delhi High Court, to sell it’s Qualcomm powered phones in India.
The Court gave the company until January 8th to sell their phones, following which a new order could be issued.
While that is uncertain, we do have some concrete news about the Redmi phones, more specifically, when the next sale would be held. Hugo Barra, Xiaomi’s VP, has announced in a letter to Mi India’s fans, that the Redmi 1S would be on sale in India next Tuesday, December 23rd. The registrations for the sale would open soon.
He also said that the Redmi Note 4G would be making it’s debut in India shortly.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 powered Note 4G, will retail at Rs. 9,999 in India, which is Rs. 1,000 expensive than the MediaTek powered Redmi Note, which is banned in the Country.
