Xiaomi could be launching the Redmi 2 tomorrow, as its India Head, Manu Kumar Jain, posted an invite on Twitter.

Why are we sure it is the Redmi 2? We have two reasons. Firstly look at the image below, it resembles the one Jain tweeted.
Secondly, Xiaomi had posted a word puzzle at their homepage last week, and lucky winners would be awarded priority passes for a device. The words mentioned in the puzzle all pointed out to the Redmi 2.

So, we expect the Redmi 2 to be launched tomorrow, for around Rs. 6,999, the same price as its Chinese variant (699 Yuan). If Xiaomi stick to their usual marketing plans, the phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart, on a flash sale.
