An improved version of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 has been spotted on Amazon India’s website.
The phone is called the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime.
The Redmi 2 Prime features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. That is the only difference in the specifications, the rest of which, are similar to the original Redmi 2.
The phone flaunts a 4.7″ HD (720p) Display with 312 PPI. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, with 2GB RAM and an Adreno 306 GPU. The Redmi 2 Prime supports up to 32GB of expandable memory, and runs on MIUI based on Android KitKat.
The device is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery, sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. The Redmi 2 Prime is a dual-SIM phone which supports 4G LTE.
