Xiaomi is still not finished with Redmi 3 series smartphones and has launched Redmi 3S & Redmi 3S prime in India just few days ago. But it appears that the successor of Redmi 3 i.e. Xiaomi Redmi 4 official launch is not far away. Just a week ago, we reported that Redmi 4 is spotted on bench-marking portal Geekbench revealing the major hardware specifications of the device i.e. it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We also reported that Redmi 4 is rumored, to be launched as early as August 25 which is just a week away. There is no official word about either the Redmi 4 Specifications or the launch date yet.
Today, some new real life images of the Redmi 4 smartphone are spotted, giving us a good glimpse of the smartphone. The images reveal a similar design to that of Redmi Note 3 at the back with the camera and fingerprint sensor located one above the other, but the LED flash being next to the Camera instead of below the camera.
One of the leaked images show the “About Phone” Screen which reveals that Redmi 4 runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It also shows that it is powered by a 2.0 GHz Processor which we believe is the 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. In terms of RAM, it comes with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage, whereas the earlier leak (spotted on Geekbench) suggested a 3 GB RAM. In our opinion, Redmi 4 will come with both 2 GB and 3 GB RAM variants along with variation in internal storage capacity. The leaked images of the front shows the same design that is being used by Xiaomi in most of their models including the capacitive buttons at the bottom.
But as we say with each leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
