The technical specifications and the price of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 have been leaked online.
This is not the first time we have seen the specifications of the upcoming budget phablet from Xiaomi.
Oppomart, has posted a listing at its website, which suggests that the Redmi Note 2 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080P) Display with a pixel density of a pixel density of 403 PPI, and 2.5D glass. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MTK MT6795 processor, clocked at 2.2GHz with 2GB of RAM.
The Redmi Note 2 will have 16GB of internal storage, and an Adreno 405 GPU. The phablet runs on MIUI 7 powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device sports a 13 Megapixels rear camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor, a dual tone LED flash. The main camera is touted to have Zero Shutter Lag and even feature a 30 fps burst mode. The front camera is a 5 megapixel lens.
The phablet has Dual SIM cards, with support for 4G LTE. The Redmi Note 2 is backed by a 3,600mAh battery. The phablet reportedly has a Corning gorilla glass on its curved back.
The listing also suggests that the Redmi Note 2 will be priced at $199 (about Rs. 13,000)
