A new smartphone from Xiaomi is certified on Chinese certification agency TENAA revealing the design of the phone. The new phone comes with a model number M1908C3IC along with Redmi branding visible on the rear panel. This could be coming Redmi Note 8, but that’s just a wild guess. Unfortunately, the TENAA listing only reveals the design of the phone but no hardware specifications.
Redmi Note 8 TENAA Images
The TENAA images reveal that alleged Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a dual-camera module at rear aligned vertically at the top middle along with LED flash and Redmi branding. The bottom portion includes a tagline of “Designed by Redmi”. The conventional fingerprint sensor is placed just below the dual-camera module. On the front, there is a waterdrop or teardrop display with Redmi branding at the bottom. The volume rocker and power buttons are on the same side. The 3C certification of the same model reveals a 18W charger for the same which means the fast charging support with an 18W power adapter.
If it does turn out to be Redmi Note 8, it will be the successor of Redmi Note 7. Redmi Note 7 boasts a 48MP rear camera(Samsung GM1) along with a 5MP secondary lens on the back, while the front camera is a 13MP selfie lens. The device runs on MIUI 10 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.
Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The device is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4 over USB Type- C.
