Xiaomi launched Redmi Pro just few days back at an event in China. Not even a week has passed and now we have a new leak which talks about the mini variant of Redmi Pro. The device is named as Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini and comes with a lower hardware specifications compared to the Redmi Pro. If you remember, Redmi Pro sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p OLED display, powered by a 2.0 GHz Mediatek Helio X20 decacore/ 2.5 GHz Helio X25 decacore processor with 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM.
The leak suggests that Redmi Pro Mini sports a 5.2 inch OLED with 2.5D curved display and is powered by 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. Three variants of Redmi Pro Mini are in works which vary with different amount of RAM and Storage capacity i.e.
- 3 GB + 32 GB
- 4 GB + 32 GB
- 4 GB + 128 GB
The leaked render sketch also suggests that the mini variant comes with a single main rear camera with LED flash instead of Dual camera setup in case of Redmi Pro. The fingerprint sensor is expected to be integrated with the front home button. At the moment, we do not know the megapixel of the main rear camera for the Mini variant, whereas the pro version came with 13 megapixel rear camera.
All the variants are backed by a battery of 4000 mAh capacity and comes with support for fast charging with a 9V-2A output adapter.
The leak also suggests the pricing of the three Redmi Pro Mini variants which is as follows:
- 3 GB + 32 GB : 1499 Yuan (~ Rs. 15,000)
- 4 GB + 32 GB : 1699 Yuan (~ Rs. 17,000)
- 4 GB + 128 GB : 1899 Yuan (~ Rs. 19,000)
