Xiaomi has begun rolling out the MIUI 11.3.0 update for Redmi K20 Pro. In case y0u missed it, the flagship phone got the Android 10 Update on day one, when Google announced the new version of its mobile operating system.
It’s a bit surprising that the company waited this long to release the update, considering that it was made available for the regular Redmi K20 nearly a month ago. But the K20 is still on Android 9, so there’s a difference.
What’s new in the MIUI 11.3.0 update for Redmi K20 Pro
The new firmware brings some changes for the phone’s settings. Scrolling screenshots should no longer have overlapping images. The clock settings have been renamed to match the local time zones. The bug related to Notification shade not open has been fixed, and it also works with Second Space.
The GPS option has been renamed to location. There have been a few user reports from the Mi Community which mention that the dual band GPS icon is now displayed as “Location”. A bug related to the call log has been fixed and it should work as normal.
The full firmware weighs about 2.2GB to download, while the MIUI 11.3.0 update for Redmi K20 Pro is only about 520MB via OTA from MIUI 11.1.0. If you haven’t gotten the notification for the update yet, you can download it from the official website and flash it manually.
