Xolo has launched a new budget phone in its Hive series, in India.
The new phone is called the Xolo Hive 8x-1000I, and sports a 5-inch HD 1080p Display, with a pixel density of 294ppi, and is protected by scratch resistant Dragontrail Glass.
The phone runs on Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat, with Hive UI on top. The firmware comes with a Chameleon widget which provides information about the weather, calendar, email, missed calls, etc. The phone is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek MT6592M processor with 2GB of RAM. The device comes with 16GB of internal storage, and supports upto 32GB of expandable stoprage via a micro SD card slot.
The Xolo Hive 8x-1000I features an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a Sony Exmor R Sensor, an a 2 megapixel front camera.
The phone supports Dual SIM cards (Micro SIM), with 2G (GSM) on one SIM and 3G (WCDMA) on the other, Wifi, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio (RDS). The device is backed by a 2000 mAh non-removable battery.
The Xolo 8X-1000I has been priced at Rs 6999, and is available exclusively from Snapdeal.
