XOLO has announced today the launch of its new XOLO Play Tegra Note, a 7 inch tablet powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 claiming to be the world’s fastest 7-inch Android tablet, in India. In terms of pricing XOLO Play Tegra Note is priced at INR 17,999 which is of the order of the price of Nexus 7 (2013) tablets.
The device is powered by Tegra 4 processor ( 1.8 GHz Quad+1 Cortex A15 )with a 72-core GeForce GPU and quad-core CPU with a fifth battery-saver core running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It features a 7-inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800. In terms of camera, the device comes with 5 MP HDR main rear camera and a front VGA webcam.
When it comes to storage capacity, the device comes with 16GB internal storage alongwith support for external microSD cards expandable up to an additional 32 GB. This feature is often missing from flagship tablets like Nexus 7. For audio, it sports front-facing stereo speakers with a unique bass-reflex port.
The device is powered by a 4100 mAh battery which gives 10 hours HD video playback.
In terms of weight, the device is just 320 gms.
