Micromax subsidiary YU has just launched a new entry-level smartphone YU YUNIQUE 2 for Indian Smartphone market. YU YUNIQUE 2 is the successor of Yu Yunique Plus announced last year and targets the budget conscious consumers in India. Yu Yunique 2 is priced at Rs. 5,999, available exclusively on Flipkart and the sale will go live from 27th July 2017 at 12 Noon.
YU YUNIQUE 2 sports a 5.0-inch 720p HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microSD cards up to 64 GB. The phone runs on ANdroid 7.0 Nougat based operating system and comes with support for 22 Indian languages.
In terms of camera, it features a 13 MP main rear camera along with LED Flash and another 5 MP front-shooter for selfies. It comes with dual SIM card support and 4G LTE along with VOLTE. In terms of dimensions, it measures 145 x 72.7 x 9.15 mm and weighs 159 grammes. The phone also comes with Truecaller integration by preloading the application. The phone is backed by a 2500 mAh battery.
