Yu Yureka and Yuphoria will get Cyanogen OS 12.1 soon.
The Micromax owned company’s co-Founder Rahul Sharma, announced the news on YU’s forums, and says that the Yu Yureka, Yuphoria Cyanogen OS 12.1 update, is in the final testing phase.
YU, has also announced that users of both devices can opt in to the beta test program for Cyanogen OS 12.1. The upcoming version is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Sharma also revealed that users had been reporting bugs in the current firmware, especially about issues related to the proximity sensor. The issue has been fixed, and patches will be rolled out for calibrating the proximity sensor, a reworked camera which will capture better photos in various lighting conditions, improvements to the keyboard, audio, dialer, and the thermal performance.
