ASUS has announced a Power User Program, which allows users to take part in the Zenfone Max Pro M2 Android Pie Beta. The update is available for download, and here’s how you can get it.
The Taiwan based company is looking for feedback from users for the new update, before it rolls out the stable version to all users. These are the requirements that ASUS is looking for:
Owning a ZenFone Max Pro M2 is crucial Willing to provide information including IMEI, Serial Number(SN), Current Firmware for the beta test setting Be familiar with Android operating system Be able to read and provide feedback in English
How to download the Zenfone Max Pro M2 Android Pie Beta
Head to the official beta tester page to enroll for the Zenfone Max Pro M2 Android Pie Beta program and read the terms and conditions. Once you apply for it, you should get a beta software update. That will followed by an email from the company which will tell you if you’ve been selected for the beta.
Those are fairly standard procedure. But there is one thing you need to know. ASUS states that users will not be able to downgrade from the beta, unless the user quits the beta program.
We think ASUS is heading in the right direction with OS updates having released the Zenfone 5Z Android Pie update earlier this week, and promised to update the Max Pro M1 in Q2.
