ZTE has officially launched a new midrange phone,the Blade S7 in China.
The phone sports a 5.0-inch full HD 1080p LTPS display, with a pixel density of 445 PPI. The screen is a Super Retina display, which supports 178 degree viewing angles.
The Blade S7’s Display and its back are protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorila Glass 3. The phone has an aluminum alloy frame with thin bezels offering a 72.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device is just 7.2mm thick and 67mm wide.
The ZTE Blade S7 is powered by a Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor, and 3GB of DDR3 RAM. The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MiFavor 3.2 UI on top, and includes support for an improved version of Smart Sense gesture control function, lockscreen Magic Gestures and more. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage.
The highlight of the Blade S7 is that it features two 13-megapixel cameras, one on the front and one on the rear. The rear camera has laser auto focus, selective focus and a lot of professional and auto shooting modes. The front camera comes with an LED flash and phase detection autofocus, panorama mode and more.
The ZTE Blade S7 features a fingerprint scanner placed in the home button. Apart from unlocking the device and apps, it can also be used to launch different apps with different fingerprints.
The ZTE Blade S7 will be made available first in Thailand, and will go on sale later in other Asia-Pacific markets. The phone will be available in four colours: Lemon Green, Rose Gold, Diamond White and Space Gray.
