ZTE is set to announce a new smartphone for Indian smartphone market on February 3 at an event in New Delhi. The company has already sent out media invites for the same and Androidpure has one too. Even though the company has put the details of the device under wraps, yet looking at the teasers, we are assuming that ZTE Blade A2 Plus may be launched on February 3, 2017.
Blade A2 Plus was launched in China in September 2016 in two variants of 3 GB & 4 GB RAM priced at 1499 Yuan (~$225 / Rs. 15,000) & 1699 Yuan (~ $255 / Rs. 17,000) . ZTE Blade A2 Plus sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display with pixel density of 404 ppi, powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor along with 3 GB / 4 GB RAM. It comes with 32 GB internal storage, along with support for expandable storage via microSD card. It runs on Mifavor 3.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
In terms of camera, Blade A2 Plus features a 13 MP main rear camera and another 8 MP front shooter for selfies.It is backed by a whopping 5,000 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it includes hybrid Dual SIM, micro USB 2.0, GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack. It supports 2G/ 3G / 4G LTE along with VOLTE. It includes sensors such as light-sensitive sensor, a proximity sensor, an acceleration sensor, a geomagnetic sensor and Hall sensor. In terms of dimensions, it measures 155 x 76.2 x 9.8 mm and weighs 189 grams.
